An interesting product has surfaced on the internet and it has people gasping, both in awe and in disgust(not sure why). Introducing the Ta-Ta Towel, a patented solution against boob sweat.
Bye bye, boob sweat Created by Los Angeles-based entrepreneur Erin Robertson, the towel is “basically a hammock for your boobs” as Bustle delicately put it and soaks up excess body moisture like sweat or nipple discharge if you’re breastfeeding.
According to the creator herself: “Whether at the spa, gym, or just lounging around the house, the Ta-Ta Towel will be your boobs’ new breast friend.”
Robertson claims she got the idea when getting ready for a date – living in tiny California apartment with a broken A/C, she experienced the issue of boob sweat firsthand and was so bothered by the lack of solutions (“wash cloths looked ridiculous, the baby powder made me look more like dough, and the t-shirt was making me sweat even more”), she decided to take matters into her own hands.
“I made a pattern by taping four pieces of printer paper together. I borrowed a sewing machine from my best friend and enrolled myself at the University of YouTube, where I taught myself how to sew. After I tore up every last towel in my apartment, I finally had my prototype.
I started handing the towels out to my friends to get some feedback. To my wonderful surprise, what I thought was just a solution to boob sweat turned out to help other women in so many different ways.”
According to Robertson, the towel helps with underboob moisture buildup, which can cause rashes, and is also perfect for breastfeeding moms because it’s so soft (made of ultra-soft rayon liner) and comfortable – just clasp it on and you’re good to go. The towels are available for pre-order and sell for $45 (N16,000)a piece.
Now at this point, you’re either ordering the Ta-Ta Towel online or still thinking WTF?! The product indeed is very niche and adheres to a particular segment of women who do experience the discomfort of having large breasts and sweat accumulating underneath.
Based on Twitter reactions and customer testimonials, the towel is pretty “genius” and offers a good solution to the problem. As long as that’s the case, we’re cool with it, even though it does look a little bit like a net bag with a couple of melons in it…

I don’t even want a ta-ta towel but the fact that I can’t even think of getting one because my boobs are too small is really upsetting
