Top under 25 players who can break Ronaldo-Messi Ballon D’or monopoly

Football has been about Messi and Ronaldo for the past decade and with both players on the legend side of 30 years old, emergence of talented young players, and the crazy big money moves in the transfer season, Trybalnation looks at the possible Players who are 25 years old and younger that could possibly break the Ronaldo-Messi Ballon D’or monopoly in the new 2017-2018 season.
Dyabala

The 23 year old Argentine nicknamed as ‘LA Joya’ (the jewel, in Spanish) has been impressive since arriving Juventus from palermo, he had a fantastic season last season helping juventus fans forget Pogba had moved on to Manchester United as he picked and gracefully adorned the number 10 jersey

Haven lead juventus to a league and cup double last season,  he lost the champions league final to a domineering Ronaldo’s Real Madrid, Dyabala will be tasked to lead the team to glory again and should they conquer Europe and win the champions league he just might lift the Ballon d’or for himself.

Mbappe

Monaco’s Wizkid who has become the subject of mega money moves to Manchester City, Real Madrid and a host of other European giant clubs is one to watch out for in the new season

The 18 year old did pull a stunt in his debut season and no matter what club he would be representing in the new season,  he is expected to improve on the 23 goals scored last season, he also helped Monaco land the ligue 1.

He is one kid that has been unusual since arriving on the scene and he could just stun us with a Ballon D’or crown
Lukaku

It will be Chelsea fans who would wish lukaku don’t find his best form in the red shirt but his understanding of the premier league and prolific goal scoring records will be an asset for Manchester United who are setting a flawless midfield to help the Belgian succeed.

If the 24 years old striker can repeat his impressive Everton goal numbers for Manchester United this season then he sure will be considered for a place with with the greats on the Ballon D’or stage.
Pogba

Currently carrying the tag as the most expensive player, £89.3 million was the fee that landed him back in Manchester, he had a fair season last season scoring in the 18th min of the Europa league final against Ajax  to complete a cup double for Manchester United.

With alot more balance in the Manchester United team, Pogba is expected to find the kind of form he had at Juventus and if he can get anything close to that level, the 23 year old could be dabbing to a Ballon D’or success
Harry Kane

With Pochettino’s work turning Tottenham to a force in English football, all the prolific striker has got to do is add trophies to the goals he rakes in.

He was the highest goal scorer in the premier league  both last season and the season before with 29 goals and 25 goals respectively.

He is one player we also must not take our eyes off.

He is expected to have a fresh start this season and with manager Pep Guadriola, a great season is expected  for Gabriel…
Neymar

The closest to breaking the Messi Ronaldo monopoly of the Ballon D’or.

The Barcelona forward seems mentally ready for the task ahead as he has demanded to be let off Messi’s shadow almost forcing a record transfer to PSG.

He was the machine on fire for Barcelona’s record come back against PSG in the Champions League, if he could have more of such games he could just just be holding the Ballon D’or with Messi and Ronaldo posing for pictures with him.

Worthy of note is Neymar is the only one on this list who has made an appearance in the top 3 of the Ballon D’or
Other players to watchout for are Phillipe Coutinho,  Dele Alli,  Eden Hazard, Dembele, Renato Sanchez
