Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy, has given an insight into how he came about his stage burna boy.
The don gordon made this known while speaking with the BBC’s Paul Bakibinga on ‘Focus on Africa. The singer who is currently on a media tour of the UK after his homecoming concert in london on October 1, said his love for comic books inspired the name that he is now called all over the world, adding that comics were his favourite distraction.
Burna also dissected his style and music, explaining that his genre is a fusion of Afro beat, spiced up with some dancehall, reggae and highlife.
He said, “Think of it as a pizza where Afrobeats is the dough then I just put different things to make it the best Pizza. So there is Dancehall, reggae, Highlife…”
